Fat within a cystic liver lesion on cross-sectional imaging - a rare manifestation
Abstract
A 30-year-old male immigrant presented to our hospital with a history of abdominal pain during the past two weeks, in the right hypochondrium. The complete blood count test and the liver function test results were within normal limits. Imaging work up initially included an abdominal Computed Tomography (CT) (Fig.1) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) (Fig. 2, 3) due to inconclusive CT results, surgery followed.
