A Case of Growth in the Upper Front Teeth Region
Abstract
A 17-year-old female presented with a painless, slow-growing swelling in the right maxillary anterior region, with a history of trauma 4-5 years prior. Clinical examination revealed a 4x5 cm labio-palatal swelling from teeth 21 to 14, with missing and displaced teeth. The swelling was firm with crepitus on palpation. CBCT, FNAC, surgical removal, and histopathological evaluation were performed for diagnosis and treatment. This case highlights the importance of thorough clinical and radiographic examination, along with histopathological confirmation, in managing unusual oral swellings in adolescents with a history of dental trauma.
