A 55-Year-Old Female with Chronic Discomfort and Pain in the left Knee

Abstract

A 55-year-old female with chronic left knee pain and swelling was diagnosed with Ollier disease based on clinical and imaging findings. Radiographs revealed multiple radiolucent lesions with calcifications in the distal femur and proximal tibia. MRI demonstrated characteristic enchondroma features, including lobulated, septated lesions with signal variations on T1- and T2-weighted images, and post-contrast enhancement. No malignant transformation was observed. This case underscores the importance of accurate diagnosis and monitoring of enchondromatosis to manage symptoms and prevent complications.
